Bloopers & Gaffes:

In the scene where Peter Butterworth, Terry Scott and Roy Castle etc are having 'mixed bathies' as Bernard Bresslaw walks in and catches them, Peter Butterworth's character ducks under the water to hide. When the camera angle changes so that we see the back of them in the pool, Peter is standing up out of the water, yet when the angle changes again, we see Peter Butterworth coming out of the water holding his nose as if he has only just come back up.

When Private Widdle loses his skirt during the dance, it stands to reason that he'd leave it behind when fleeing the ensuing melee. However, he is wearing it again a few minutes later.

Captain Kean and Major Woodhouse "have a bash" from point-blank distance, and still no fallen enemies can be seen on the battle field.

Look carefully during the dinner scene at the end - parts of the dining room seem to repair themselves throughout the bombardment, including the blind behind the orchestra and the window.
