Alternate Titles:

Carry On Screaming was known as "Carry On Vampire" in certain countries
It was retitled "With Pointy Teeth" in South America

Bloopers & Gaffes:

When Sgt Bung gets up from the bed he at first turns the blanket over, but then pulls it a little back - apparently in order not to show the snake under the cover.

When Sgt Bung wakes up in the bath, after changing back from OddBodd Jr, he still has his socks on. How so, given that Oddbodd Jr had bare feet?

More shoe problems - look out for the scene where Mr Potter is asked to take off his shoes. He does so, but doesn't put them on again before leaving!

In the scene where Rubatiti stomps in pursuit after Dr Watt. His sister implores Sgt Bung to save her brother, since the mummy would kill him. Dr Watt however is already dead, of course!

Behind the Scenes:

The theme song for "Carry On Screaming" is credited in the film to "Anon". For many years, it was believed to be Bad Company singer "Boz"Burrell.  While Boz did record the version of the theme released on record, the theme in the film was in fact recorded by crooner Ray Pilgrim.  Ray contacted Carry On Line to tell his fascinating story.  You can read it here.

The role of Det Sgt Bung was, of course, originally offered to Sid James.  Sid had recently suffered a heart attack, however, and so could not join the cast.  Before it was offered to Harry H Corbett, Tony Hancock had also been under consideration.
